As many of you may know, Gary Peabody contributed many hours to the care of Clayton Pond. Sadly, he passed away after a fairly brief illness. In honor of him, some residents of the community chipped in to purchase a bench in his honor.
The cement pad was prepped and concrete poured over the last week. What would we do without our wonderful neighbors lending a hand and donating money to make this project happen.

Our neighborhood is undergoing some temporary transformations (some painful) in the name of progress. When finished, it will be a good thing for those living here to have the option of fiber internet. Our board members hired a company to get rid of multiple beavers who were damaging areas around our pond and the trees. Very interesting process and they are happy to report that all beavers have been relocated. Past Presidents, committee members and the President Denise Peabody (standing) at Interurban for a little holiday fun. All had a great time and a well deserved outing. This board and committee members work really hard for the good of this neighborhood. We appreciate them. A great time was had by all this year at our annual fall festival. Cake walk, bouncy house-courtesy of Board member Dameion, hamburgers, hotdogs and more.
Around 50 people were in attendance. Would you like to be involved in nexts years fall festival? Contact the board; they'd love to have you. Most of our neighbors knew Gary Peabody who spent countless hours throughout the years giving of his time and efforts for Clayton Pond. He knew where every valve was, information about the pumps and systems, pond maintenance and on and on with his endless knowledge. Unfortunately, Gary passed away early this year and will be dearly missed.
In memory of Gary, we would like to purchase a memory bench and place it on the common area behind Gary and Denise Peabody’s home. This would be a great honor for Denise to see and appreciate every day. If you would like to donate, you can bring CASH by Gail Yanko’s home (4109 Devon) or Charlotte Goddard at 201 Bristol Court. We are not handling this effort through the regular HOA accounts. PLEASE DONATE😊 Thanks to these kiddos that helped bring a little color to our little village and to Mike and Lana Ellis for always decorating for seasons!
Pond one has been needing a face lift for some time. It was looking pretty bad and is one of the first ponds that is seen when entering our neighborhood off of 2nd. Once again, our board members received bids and started work on making this pond look and function better. It's looking good!
